Roots Survivor is a collection of Hard-Roots vocal tracks produced by
Martin Campbell and co-arranged by Kendrick Andy. The basic rhythms
were originally recorded at Channel One UK in the
late 1980's/early 1990's and the tracks featured in this particular
collection were voiced during 1993. Although all featured tracks, bar
'Push Come To Shove', were not released until 2007, on the now deleted
first release of the Roots Survivor album.
Throughout the album Kendrick continues his long-time lyrical
tradition, where he focuses primarily on spiritual & political
scenarios - chanting down Babylon, over vintage 'Hi-Tech Roots
Dynamics' rhythm work. For this 2015 digipack re-issue, the tracks have
been up-dated and
re-mastered by Alien Dread, at the new AD studio.
